Peek and Boo - in stores 1st Oct 2021

I am absolutely thrilled to have partner with the incredible Jess Racklyeft on a new picture book with Windy Hollow Books called PEEK AND BOO.

My inspiration for this story came from a friend, who told me about two Tawny Frogmouths who sat in a tree in her garden, day in and day out, year after year. She called these two friends PEEK and BOO.

I found that all Tawny Frogmouths mate for life; these amazing birds find one partner and stay with that one partner for their entire life.

I recently met these two birds, who still sit side by side everyday, in her garden, through the day, in the dark, in wind and rain, through trees and bark. Check out the video of when I met the real-life Peek and Boo!
